What the register no longer says
Parliament's Register of Members' Financial Interests is published as it stands today. When an entry is taken out, the old version is simply gone, and nothing marks its passing. Britain Next checks the register against what it said last time, so this page can exist.
Read this before you read the list
- An entry leaving the register is not wrongdoing. Entries are removed for ordinary reasons: a registrable interest ends, a duplicate is tidied, a member corrects their own filing, or the twelve month window for a donation passes. This page records that the record changed. It does not say why, because we do not know why.
- Only sitting members appear here. When someone leaves Parliament their whole register goes with them, and calling that a withdrawal would say something untrue about them. Those members are excluded by the query itself, not by hand.
- The dates are ours, not Parliament's. We can say when one of our checks last saw an entry, and when a check found it gone. Parliament does not publish the moment it removes something, so we never claim to know it. We began recording sightings on 22 September 2026, so 451 of these entries carry only the date we found them missing, with no earlier bound.
